Ill Manors Parts Of Analysis

Album Cover
The narrative is presented to be urban, the uses if him smoking a cigarette on the street yet his posture his displayed to be so relaxed and comfortable portrays he is used to the street life implying the hip hop and urban culture he displays. Also he is presented to be not a caring type but to be so calm and casual when being in a frightening environment connotes that he lives for the streets. The uses of his hoodie and cigarette almost displays the iconography of the urban and hip hop genre as that is mostly how they are stereotypically seen to be. Also the title is integrated into the setting connoting it is integral al ILL and we expect the songs to be about this.
Film Poster
The narrative is presented to be about the struggle of the estate life from the quotation ' we are all products of our environment..some are just harder to survive in' this portrays to the audience that the life of estate is a struggle to survive in and connotes to the audience how broken Britain is really becoming. The use of the character having a gun in his hand portrays the iconography of violence and action due to a gun being such a powerful weapon and would lead to events such as murder or robbery. The use of dark clouds shadowing over the state connotes the amount of violence and terror the state brings and also shows people that they know they are going to a dangerous place if they was to enter. The genre is presented to be an action/thriller as the uses of guns and dark clouds portrays to the audience the amount of terror and violence will be brought into the film.
