The use of the director breaking the '180 rule'put a big effect and suspense on the environment as the use of cutting the 180 rule connoted to the audience that the director wanted to show all the senses of environment in different ways possible to show the amount of tension being built up in the scene to make the tense that the director was making the audience automatically feel and gain. Secondly the use of panning on the main governor in the scene brought the audience to feel the tension of the governor and how that moment felt with him as the use of the panning all on him connotes to the audience he plays important part but also shows the emotion and suspense he feels when being apart of this scene.
