Location Reece

Production Details: Filmed in Smith Farm
Producers: Saira And Mathew

Details of Location: Filmed in an estate in Northolt called ‘Smith Farm’.
Address: 2 Leander Road
Northolt
Middlesex
UB56TE

IMAGES:

Advantages of location: the advantages of this location is that it will be portraying the ‘estate life’ that is stereotyped to be very dirty and full of crime, therefore this would be a perfect location to film as it will bring in the stereotype that I’m trying to portray.

Location Considerations (problems, timings, permission etc.), there is not really any problems about this location everything is free and not private and there is not any dangerous areas therefore it would be very easy to film our production.

Proposal

Producer(s): Saira And Mathew
Production Title: Double Scraps

Brief: A 16 year old teenager called Mathew AKA Looney, who lives in an
Estate with his mum. He goes to a private He walks out the door, and
as soon as he slams the door behind him, hip hop music starts (non-
Diegetic). The music starts. He gets changed into a black tracksuit, and
His image completely changes.

Aim: to attract our target audience and show them how young black teenager boys are stereotyped to be in our society but also to show them how they can make something out of it instead of messing about in the streets.

Description of your intentions: Our intentions for this production is to attract our target audience and portray the young black teenager boys that are stereotyped in this generation to be trouble makers and criminals, but also show how not all boys are negative and can make something out of nothing, this is also to show people that being stereotypical is very negative as you shouldn’t just a book by its cover but give time to judge someone and get to know them before they make an opinion.

Target Audience: target audience for our teen drama are 15-19 year olds (both
males and females) young generation how certain ethnicity's are
Portrayed in the media. The stereotypes are being reinforced

From the Young & Rubicam’s 4 C’s, we are targeting Strugglers,

From the socio demographics category it would be aimed at C/D/
E as unemployed,

Similar Products: Shows such as Topboy are very similar to this production, as they both use the concept of displaying the stereotype of young black teenage boys, and how they are influenced by crime which is very similar to our production.
