Analysis Of 2 Short Clips
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8X7W-oPhY48-Clash Of The Titans
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_z4IuxAqpE-Scarface
The uses of both films both using non diegetic and diegetic helps contrast the scene even more and build suspense and tension for the audience to make the scene much more exciting and entertaining for the audience. For instance, the use of the diegetic sounds of madusa in clash of the titans built up a lot of suspense and tension for the audience, like the uses of hearing the hissing and attacks of medusa to the heavy breathing of the man trying to kill her built huge suspense and tension as the audience were very encouraged to think if he was going to kill medusa or she was going to turn him into stone.
However, non diegetic was much more of a bigger advantage in scarface as the use of the opera music built a load of attention on Tony as the use of high and low instruments were used to emphasize how big the scene of his death was but the environment itself in a whole brought tension from the diegetic sounds of the explosions, gun shots but also the dramatic words being said to show how powerful and dramatic the uses of sound effect the scene.
Adding on from this point the lighting had a key figure in clash of the titans as it had a lot of low key lighting used as they wanted portray the dark and bitter environment they are in as there could possibly be so much death to come. However, when being scarface it was quite high key lighting this was effective as they was focusing on Tony and putting the spotlight on him to connote such a great death by a real gangster and show he was a warrior and powerful man even though he gets murdered.

Analyse 4 Images From A Film
The 4 images I have chosen from the film 'The Amazing Spiderman' I will be describing its main key aspects of the media terminologies and strategies used to make their shots very unique and uses the media terms to make their shots unique and up to a high quality standard. Firstly, the uses of camera framing and movements from all 4 shots are used in entirely different ways connoting how powerful and unique the shots are as they all differentiate with each other.
For instance, the uses of using shots such as the long shot and medium shot in they 4 images is maybe to express the amount of power and detail that goes into spiderman due to the fact they have to show his whole body posture but also his surroundings which could possibly connote his power and physical stance in the world as he is presented to be very strong and ferocious. also the expressions and actions being used in the images present to us he is a superhero or out of this world figure due to him taking out a ginormous robot but also his stance when being presented looking a bit lean and sophisticated implies to the audience the amount of power and velocity he owns however, the first image presents him more to be an outcast and could maybe differentiate how much power he has that others can not be in the same position as him but in fact he might be all alone deep down no matter how much power he contains.
They also use a lot of high key lighting to bring out how amazing spiderman is but also connote to the audience how special and powerful he is. They do this by putting a lot of light on him when in action but also show that he is the main focus by all means as the spotlight is always proposed to be on him whenever being seen.
The uses of colors are also a key factor as they use many which shows the film is very open minded and can bring out any key mood that a family film has to offer. from the uses of red and blue may connote that spiderman is an american superhero due to the fact he represents the colors of the united states flag but also open up your mind to more of a judging as red may connote fear and evil but blue could connote mystery and struggle. They also use some dark bits which could possibly emphasize his projection of feeling like an outcast and would show his true colors.
